Cheesy Noodles With Crispy Chicken

Ingredients
- 2 pieces Mi Urai premium egg noodles, cooked and tossed in a little oil
- Cheese sauce:
- 2 pieces Mi Urai premium egg noodles, cooked until desired tenderness
- 1 medium onion, minced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 200 ml fresh milk
- 75 g cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/2 tsp parsley, minced
- Chicken strips:
- 300 g chicken breast, cut into 6 portions
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 100 ml water
- 500 ml cooking oil
- Seasoning flour:
- 250 g plain flour
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- 1. Prepare chicken strips – Mix chicken breast, garlic, salt and pepper. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- 2. Mix all seasoning flour ingredients. Set aside 5 tablespoon of the mixture, add water to make a batter. Dip refrigerated chicken strips in batter and then roll in remaining seasoning flour, coating well. Shake off any clumps, set aside.
- 3. Heat cooking oil. Fry chicken strips until golden brown, set aside.
- 4. Prepare cheese sauce – In a separate pan, heat butter and sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add milk, stir well. Add cheese, stir until melted.
- 5. Add Mi Urai into cheese sauce, mix well. Serve sprinkled with parsley and topped with chicken strips.
