Chicken Mushroom Steamed Mee

Ingredients
- 2 pcs Mi URAI Original
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Chicken broth, as needed
- For Topping:
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, shredded
- 500 g chicken breast fillet, diced
- 250 g canned button mushrooms, cut into 1 cm
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 5 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- ½ tsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp white pepper powder
- Salt and sugar, to taste
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
Instructions
- 1. Cook Mi URAI according to instructions on pack. Set aside.
- 2. In a separate bowl, mix garlic, soy sauce and sesame oil. Add Mi URAI, mix well. Set aside.
- 3. For Topping: Heat oil. Sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant. Add chicken, cook until colour has changed, mix in the rest of the topping ingredients. Stir until cooked, set aside.
- 4. Fill in 1/3 of a ceramic cup with chicken topping. Add seasoned Mi URAI on top of it until the cup is almost full.
- 5. Pour chicken broth slowly until the cup is full. Steam until cooked, lift from heat and let cool.
- 6. Slowly turn the cup upside down on top of a serving plate.
- 7. Serve with chicken broth and chilli flakes (if preferred).
